Pezerolles is beautifully located above Petit Epenots. Bright garnet. The nose is succulent with dark fruits and an underlying waft of liquorice. The mid palate shows intensity underpinned by fine tannins. As is typical of this climat the wine is racy and fresh and not heavy and sombre like some Pommard. A stylish Pommard.
