This cuvee is from vines at least 40 years of age. The wine is intense, with great Chablis typicity and depth of flavour.

Bright nose with Chablis typicity and sneaky intensity. On the palate there is white stonefruit with a saline tang and a back note of smokey flint. Some ground spice too. Plenty of depth and texture with more mid palate weight that the Fleur d'Acacia - which can be attributed to the old vines. One might say tasty but that would be too simple a descriptor for this wine which offers exceptional drinking pleasure at a modest price. The French prize old vines and in this wine the reason is clear.
