Cacheux’s Vosne-Romanee comes from two parcels: La Croix Blanche at the southern end of Vosne-Romanee and Aux Saules which lies behind Domaine Anne Gros. The harvest is manual, sorting is immediate, directly on the vine, the destemming is total before putting in open tanks. The wines are vinified in a traditional way with temperature control. They are then aged in oak barrels for a period of 18 months (30% new barrels). The wine is neither fined nor filtered and is bottled at the domaine. Clay-loam soil.
