Very deep red-garnet. Bright. Classic Vosne-Romanee nose: black cherry, violets, Oriental spices. Inviting! Floral. Sophisticated. Brilliant palate: all that the nose promises with a little dark chocolate and vanilla. It’s spicy and sexy with some raspberry-like fresh acidity. The soaring violets remind me of Romanee-St-Vivant but it has the seductive feel of Suchots on the textured, intense, layered mid palate. Finishes long. A baby but so impressive!
