Beautiful fuschia-purple. Super bright. Very inviting. The nose is deeply aromatic, redolent of violets, red fruits and a hint of oriental spice. The palate is textured and fluid with considerable power but no heaviness. It is structured, enticing and charming at the same time. Everything is underpinned by fine tannins. Les Argillieres is often spoken of as a mini-Musigny and this wine is testament to that belief. This is a serious wine and more complex than many Premier Crus. Simply super!
