Just 10 barrels produced from 10 parcels around the centre of Volnay totalling around 3 hectares.
The Fine Wine Review
10 hl/ha. This wine had received no SO2 at the time I tasted it. This wine is dense and dark-fruited, intense, chewy, and long. It is more powerful than the foregoing wines.

The 2016 Volnay has a light and airy bouquet, pure and quite elegant in style. The palate is defined by edgy black fruit laced with tea and bay leaves, a pinch of white pepper towards the finish. Cropped at just 10hl/ha, there is concentration and depth to this fine Volnay from Pierrick Bouley.
