A downslope continuation of the Grand Cru Chapelle-Chambertin. Planted in 1978. Notes of cherry are very present as always, followed by nuances of liquorice. More textural than heavily structured, it has good staying power.
Still a good dense crimson purple colour but less intense than Perrières. This has more of a sense of elegance and less power of the two, greater length and complexity, which is really evident when the wine is in the mouth. A long fine and distinguished finish. Drink from 2026-2032. 91-94 Points
