From a single parcel in Gevrey-Chambertin. The vineyard is called Pasquier des Chenes and it lies in Gevrey-Chambertin on the border of Morey-St-Denis.
The last to be picked. Crimson purple colour, with a reductive nose. Spicier and pepperier than the regular Bourgogne with a fresh intensity of red fruit through the middle, possibly more backbone but less immediate charm. Worth putting away for a year or two. Drink from 2025-2027. 87-89 Points
