From a single parcel in Gevrey-Chambertin. The vineyard is called Pasquier des Chenes and it lies in Gevrey-Chambertin on the border of Morey-St-Denis.
This has not been racked as the malolactic has not finished. Rich deep purple, with dark fruit slightly muddied by the malolactic. There is a lot of wine in this for a Bourgogne with the same very peppery finish, alongside the pleasing deep red fruit. Good length. When it is tidied up this will work extremely well. 87-89 Points
