Notably deeper purple in colour than the straight Bourgogne. Firmer, more concentrated nose, sturdy stuff, but this may be a reflection of a very late malolactic fermentation. It is the palate which confirms the quality here. An impressive intensity of dark fruit, this is village level with excellent intensity. 5 STar Wine.
