Bill Nanson "The Burgundy Report"
20% oak elevage. From Forêts.
A freshness of aroma, aided by swirling. Wide and fresh, more structural, still a faint saline and phenolic touch to the texture. There’s more active energy here and a simply brilliant line of finishing flavour. Bravo again - starting compact on the nose and getting bigger and bigger.
James Suckling Tasting Report
Such pristine aromas of lemons, quite essence-like, with background flintiness. The palate has a very sleek and succulent feel with very concentrated grapefruit and lemon biscuit to close. Drink over the next six to eight years.

The 2018 Chablis Montmains 1er Cru has a tightly wound nose that opens up to offer enticing Chinese white tea and light pressed flower aromas. This is very classy. The palate is taut and focused with citrus lemon and a touch of lemongrass on the entry. It is harmonious and displays fine poise on the finish
