Jasper Morris MW says of red Morgeot “Most of Morgeot is prime territory for red grapes, however. These are rich, sturdy wines with a notable base of tannins but, potentially, with a wealth of fruit to surround its structure.”
Domaine fruit in Clos Chareau. Fine pure purple with significant energy on the nose. A fresher style of raspberry, good energy through the middle, then some slightly firmer tannins at the back. Dark cherry as well, but not sloppy. 90-92 Points
