Jasper Morris MW on La Boudriotte "The reds should be concentrated wines fine bone-structure - not as thumpingly tannic as certain other red Chassagnes.". He suggests the wine can look more like a Cote de Nuits.
Almost black centre with purple rim, this has notable intensity. Quite a ripe style of bouquet but not exaggerated, in fact increasingly lovely as one gets further along the palate, with a sweetness of fruit which marries the oak well. 91-93 Points
