Jasper Morris MW on La Boudriotte "The reds should be concentrated wines fine bone-structure - not as thumpingly tannic as certain other red Chassagnes.". He suggests the wine can look more like a Cote de Nuits.
From purchased grapes as Justin is a fan of red Chassagne-Montrachet. A beautiful glowing pale ruby purple. The nose is particularly stylish, on the cusp of raspberry and cherry, less sweet fruit and more tannins, but with a class throughout and finely textured. Not massive but definitely good!
