Clear fullish purple. The bouquet is open and attractive, but like all the Castagnier wines this year, it seems at this stage to be a bit lacking in precision. There is more structure behind, an extra weight towards the back with some darker fruit notes. Leaves a good final flavour in the mouth. Drink from 2028-2033.
