Burghound
This possesses what is arguably the most complex nose in the range with its broad-based aromas of ripe black currant, menthol, iron, animale and plenty of warm earth. I very much like the intensity of the well-delineated and stonier middle weight flavors that possess a markedly finer mouth feel, all wrapped in a wonderfully deep and impeccably well-balanced finale. This is terrific and worth your interest. (Drink starting 2024).
Jasper Morris MW
Clear bright dense colour with purple hue. Rich, concentrated nose, some classic plums. Powerful but perhaps a bit brawny, with tannins more evident than acidity. If this knits together it may well surpass this score.
