A definite step up in concentration, density and length, the Murgers des Dents de Chien offers aromas of Mirabelle and nectarine fruit, with floral notes and a bit of spice. The texture is creamy and rich, yet it remains in balance without heaviness. The grapes are from the domaine-owned parcel of just over a half-hectare; they are gently pressed and fermented in barrel, 25% new. This should be accessible soon after release, but it definitely has potential to improve over the next decade at a minimum. Drink 2026-2040. 93 Points
