Consistently among my favourite Chevaliers, the Clos des Chevaliers from Jean Chartron does not disappoint, with pronounced aromas of greengage plum, lemon peel and nectarine, a stony mineral foundation and accents of acacia flowers and spice. On the palate, the wine shows exceptional concentration and depth of flavour, with a lively, dynamic feel; it is superb in every regard. The half-hectare of vines at the northern end of the historical section of Chevalier is among the greatest sites for white wine in Burgundy. Drink 2035-2070. 98 Points
