In 2019 the grapes were very ripe, with a slightly elevated pH, giving a lush fruit character and a texture that is silky-soft and rather lacking the tannin one expects in Gevrey, although it will be very pleasant for current drinking. Four barrels have been made from purchased grapes. 30% whole bunch vinification and 25% new wood. They pick, they pay by the row and can green harvest. Medium deep crimson purple, very floral. Delicious bouquet! The fruit hits exactly the right light raspberry notes afterwards, long fine and well balanced. 90-93 Points
