The plot was bought in 1978 and the vines were old then. Immediately seductive, this is produced from a small parcel of vines which are more than seventy years old, located in Mazoyères-Haut, just along the Route des Grands Crus and across from Latricières. Initially a bit closed, the wine reveals its opulent, dark plummy fruit, sweetness and velvety texture on the palate, with a finish that lingers seemingly forever.
