A glowing ruby purple. The bouquet is more classically Chambolle with some violets tucked in to the red fruits. Vivacious, with good acidity, the oak more in the background, and fine persistence. 92-94 Points

Previously labeled Les Combottes but now renamed Aux Combottes to more accurately reflect its location, the 2024 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Aux Combottes offers an aromatic profile of peony, orange peel, violet and timut pepper, mingled with woodsmoke. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, charming and vibrant, displaying an elegant, perfumed profile and chalky finish. The wine derives from 70-year-old vines rooted in soils composed largely of limestone. 91-93 Points
