A blend of the two parts of Combottes, Chabiots, Chatelots plus this year Feusselottes, Gruenchers, Plantes and Aux Echanges. Mostly 60+ year old vines. 13hl was all that could be made from 1.40ha. Black centre, with a purple rim. Some dark fruit too in the mix, maybe because of a recently finished malolactic. The wood is present though the fruit concentration should manage that in due course. Quite a powerful wine. 91-93 Points

A blend of eight vineyard sites, Felettig’s one-off 2024 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les 8 Climats was produced at an average yield of a mere 10 hectoliters per hectare; however, quality more than compensates for the shortfall in quantity. It delivers aromas of red cherry, peony, iris and woodsmoke, followed by a medium- to full-bodied palate that is charming and seamless, with suave tannins and a deep, finely concentrated core of fruit, before concluding with a long, perfumed finish. This year’s blend incorporates Les Feusselottes and was vinified entirely in new wood. It is well worth seeking out. 91-93 Points
