The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Les Cras 1er Cru is extremely well defined on the nose of intense blackberry and raspberry fruit, crushed rock and light wilted iris flower. The palate is medium-bodied with a bold structure, a Les Cras with huge dimension and a firm grip at this early stage. Wonderful salinity here, and it fans out gloriously toward the finish. Next to the nascent 2019, this does not have as much poise, but it will surely age with style and time will smooth its edges. (Drink between 2023-2045). 93+ Points
Fresh purple, really lively, feel the limestone and the old vines! Glorious bright deep red fruit, retains the elegance, with a huge weight of really ripe fruit at the back, a slight touch of peach, some tannins. This registers 14.2% but is still an amazing wine. 92-95 Points
