From extraordinarily old vines planted in 1914! Piercing nose of citrus, pear, minerals and white flowers. A hint of oak hidden below. Saline and seductive. Tighter and more mineral than Les Chalumaux with strong notes of grapefruit and wet stone. The palate is elegant and textured from the old vines with a delightful acid-led freshness, a trademark of the 2016 vintage.
