Pale yellow. Nose of lime rind and pith, honeysuckle, pear, crushed stone, smoke and a whisper of oak. The palate has presence with properly ripe fruit as expected of 2020, a pleasing salty tang at the front and tingly acidity mid palate. There’s a squeeze of white peach adding to the seductive mouthfeel. Classic Morgeot with flesh and texture, plenty of fresh fruit and an underlying seam of citric acidity.
