Domaine Coudray-Bizot make just one Premier Cru white – Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Combettes. The vineyard lies on the Meursault border with Puligny Perrieres to the south and Meursault Perrieres and Charmes to the north. It is a nice piece of real estate.
Coudray-Bizot’s 0.26 hectare parcel lies on alluvium and brown limestone over a pearly slab substrate of the Callovian era. It is 75% very old vines (80+ years of age), the younger 25% were planted in the 1990’s so they too are no longer young.
