First vintage. Les Topons is located at the southern end of Nuits-St-Georges roughly under Les St-Georges. The domaine says it is a more powerful and structured wine than Au Bas de Combe (which is at the northern end). A great comparison.

Domaine Coudray-Bizot is a family run domaine with some prime vineyards. The domaine is located in the historic Chateau David de Beaufort with its 15th century cellars inside Beaune's mediaeval walls.
Their vineyards include Echezeaux En Orveaux, Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cazetiers and Champeaux, Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Combettes and the rare and intriguing Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru La Croix Rameaux. They are one of just three owners of Vosne-Romanee's smallest Premier Cru.
The domaine also has a alternative policy when it comes to releasing their wines. Where most domaines like to ship their wines as soon as humanly possible, Coudray-Bizot prefer to hold their wines back in their dark, cold cellars to enable them develop complexity and interest.
