All in stainless steel, the only 1er Cru without wood, as has been the case since Romain’s grandfather’s day. Certainly, the bouquet is round enough without it. Quite floral, plus white fruit, very little of Montmain’s reductive character. Starts well and kicks on to the end of the palate, some fresh apples, a little citrus, and persistent. The last to finish fermenting.
