Les Forêts occupies a hillside on the left bank of the Serein with a south-east exposure. This plot is composed of blue clay, which makes its soil very compact. This particular terroir gives us wines of serious complexity
Pale lemon and lime. Here the reduction is more noticeable, but note that this wine has not yet been racked. There is noticeably more density here than the Montmains, a little lime rinse to the concentrated fruit, and fine length. Adequate tension this year. Drink from 2026-2032. 90-93 Points
