We sold out of the 2017 Bourgogne Chardonnay after showing it at one small dinner. I think everyone grabbed a case. This is from vines around Meursault and has character and texture.
Stylish, floral nose with notes of pineapple and lime. There’s excellent mouthfeel with fruit complexity and little oak adding structure. Plenty of flavour to delight the senses but well balanced by citric acidity. The finish is long and refined. Very well made and simply delicious.
Flint, peach, blossom and white rose jumping out of the glass. Palate is round and rich with an array of well-integrated orchid fruits. Very Meursault in style due to its fine mineral complexity. Great gripping stone fruits of nectarine, apricot and a lemon cream quality. Very enjoyable Bourgogne that’s ready to go now, perfect for summer!
