Les Bousselots is located at the northern end of Nuits-St-Georges close to Vosne-Romanee. Here the wines tend to display more perfume and elegance - a theoretical combination of Nuits and Vosne. The domaine's holdings are just 0.36 hectares.

Bright, medium red. Aromatic nose of crunchy red cherry and fresh flowers. Very aromatic and precise. In contrast to many wines from southern NSG this is floral, balanced and really very pretty with sublime velvet tannins that support but never intrude. Fine intensity but light on its feet. If you think all Nuits-St-Georges is big, powerful and tannic you must try this wine. It is simply gorgeous.
I enjoyed this so much a week ago that another bottle was called for over the past weekend. Very elegant for Nuits with lovely fresh fruit and crisp acidity.
