This extraordinary white wine is made from hand-picked Chardonnay grapes from 4 different parcels, located on limestone, clay, and marl soils. The wine is vinified separately per parcel, to ensure the full expression of each terroir, and the finished wine rests for approximately 10 months in French oak (approximately 15% new), and for 3-4 months in stainless steel vats. Beaune du Chateau Premier Cru Blanc reveals a pale gold color with light greenish hues. Its aromatic profile is ripe and broad with notes of white fruit, banana, lime blossom, candied citrus, and some hints of brioche and baking spices. On the palate, it is rich and concentrated with a pleasant fresh vein and a long finish that recalls mineral notes. Excellent with roast chicken and all-white meats. 94 Points
