From two parcels - Aux Raviolles right on the Nuits-St-Georges border and Vigneux which lies across the road from Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru La Croix Rameau and the Grand Cru Romanee-St-Vivant. Vigneux is small at just 2.63 hectares and we rarely see it. It was part of the legendary Henri Jayer's Vosne-Romanee.

Deep bright red. A fresh bouquet of raspberries, red cherry, violet and spice. It is very aromatic and pure. The palate displays the same crunchy fruits and spices with medium weight and intriguing layers. Very bright and vibrant and unmistakably Vosne. This is an expressive wine that drinks well now due to its purity and balance but will cellar very well. Benchmark!
