Bill Nanson "The Burgundy Report"
From higher up in the vineyard.
A little more open nose, perfumed with violets. Ooh, big in the mouth, very fine tannin. Deep, concentrated delicious wine. This is a little tighter than the last but essentially is a bigger wine. Excellent again.
Bourgogne Aujourd'Hui
Old vines: 55 years of age. This is a superb vineyard boasting structure and rich aromas of elegant black fruits and spices. The wine is very typical Beaune: silky, elegant, with plenty of finish.
Wine Enthusiast - Roger Voss
In the heart of the massive run of premier crus on the slopes above the city of Beaune, this vineyard has produced a wine with powerful tannins and great swathes of black fruits. It needs to age and will not be ready until 2023. *Cellar Selection*
