The Clos du Murger is behind the Bardet family home in the village; the lieu-dit is Au Village and part of the clos is AC Meursault, while the other part is classified as Bourgogne. The Meursault portion delivered a wine with zesty freshness in 2019, with citrus, spice and beeswax aromas. There is a rich, buttery texture but enough acidity to balance it out and lead to an elegantly persistent finish. This is classic Meursault, but nothing is old-fashioned and it should age for another two decades at least. (Drink between 2023-2045). 94 Points
