Deep red. Floral nose displaying red and black cherry (mostly red), raspberry, woody spices. The palate is silky and sensual, mouthfilling but light on its feet. The fruit is to the fore with spice elements wafting in and out. Cool and more delicate than expected with plenty of vitality. Finishes long with fine-boned structure. The wine sings of its origins – it is perfumed with a lovely fruit character so typical of Chambolle.
