The provenance is Aux Jachées 60%, Chalandins and a smattering of Chaumes 1er Cru, prepared for bottling. 50% whole bunch, 50% new wood. A bright and even purple. The new wood integrates very well, with an impressive depth. This is work in progress that promises very well. A good weight of fruit and a high-class finish that persists properly. Notes of peonies, orange zest and spices mingle with sweet red berries in an inviting bouquet to introduce the 2022 Vosne-Romanée Village, a medium to full-bodied, supple and lively wine that's one of the more structured, taut communal-level bottlings in the cellar this year. 90-91 Points
