From Les Chaliots (south) and Lavières (north). A fine dense purple as befits a Nuits. 40% whole bunches. I thought there might be the faintest hint of volatility, which can be tidied up, but otherwise an interesting cuvée of Nuits-St-Georges, with a notably fresh finish. Red fruit rather than black. Drink from 2030-2035. 90-92 Points
The usual blend of lieux-dits Chaillots and Lavières, the 2022 Nuits-Saint-Georges Village wafts from the glass with aromas of plums, smoky berries, spices and orange zest. Medium to full-bodied, rich and layered, with a generous core of fruit framed by powdery tannins, it concludes with a floral finish. 90-92 Points
