Baked gooseberries, white chocolate and buttermilk pannacotta on the nose. The palate has a rare confidence and poise and beautiful concentration and freshness. 95 Points and Gold Medal
Decanter World Wine Awards 2022
This is powerful and rich but not overly heavy - a heady balance, but still well-calibrated. The intense aromas vary from citrus and hawthorn to ripe apple, hazelnut, and spice. There is weight and extract on the palate with melon and apricot flavours and an opulent finish. 95 Points and Gold Medal
Fine pale primrose. A powerful concentration of fruit on the nose, plus a little gunflint. There is a different level of volume here compared to the Meursault Charmes, some ripe plums, stopping short of peaches, excellent mineral grip behind, and pleasingly long. 93-95 Points
