How do you learn more about Burgundy? Reading is informative and a trip to the vineyards can be very constructive. But nothing is better than tasting and comparing wines and talking about them with like minded, enthusiastic wine lovers.


Our Understanding the intricacies of Burgundy Dinner is going to do just that.


We have assembled 7 Pairs of wines. Each Pair has everything in common - well, except for one variable. 


The difference might be maker, vintage, vineyard or level. But apart from that one element the wines are fundamentally the same - at least on the surface.


We will taste and compare each Pair of wines and discuss what makes the wines different. It should be a great exercise and I am sure will increase everyone’s understanding of the intricacies of Burgundy. We’ll do it over dinner at Yagiz where the food will be a great counterpoint to the wine.
