Domaine Fougeray de Beauclair winemaker Laurence Ollivier (nee Fougeray) will be back in Australian in May. This time Laurence would like to host a dinner in Sydney to complement our Melbourne event. Laurence works with her husband Patrice Ollivier to produce a range of wines from some very interesting vineyards in the Cote de Beaune and Cote de Nuits. 


"Most famous for their Bonnes-Mares and their 'Clos Marion', the family business of Domaine Fougeray de Beauclair was founded about 1979 when Jean-Louis Fougeray, the father of the current owners, a man who by day worked in administration and by night tending his vines, made his very first cuvée. It was from a quarter hectare of Marsannay vines - in the family since 1972 - this was the start for Domaine Fougeray." The Burgundy Report 


Today, the domaine is somewhat larger and continues to expand its holdings with new acquisitions.

Our Sydney Domaine Fougeray de Beauclair Dinner will focus on the new 2016's. We will present the full range of reds from Hautes Cotes de Nuits up to Bonnes-Mares.

We will also serve four different 2015's for comparison.

Around that we have 4 wines supplied by the domaine. We have two aged wines from 1999 and 2000 plus the Marsannay Les St-Jacques Monopole 2017 and Laurence will hand carry 2 bottles of the Bonnes-Mares 2017 which has just been bottled. You will be the first people outside France to taste this cuvee.

What makes Fougeray's Bonnes-Mares so interesting is that it is the only Bonnes-Mares to be produced entirely from fruit on the Morey-St-Denis side. The dinner will be at The Bishop in Surry Hills. The wines will be accompanied by a 4-course meal.
