Domaine Grossot Chablis 2011 Pre Arrival Offer. Premier Crus at just $47.50!‏

Grossot 2011 3

Apart from a few Magnums of Fourneaux we have completely sold out of the 2010 Grossot Chablis

So it is time to move onto 2011. This year we present the four Premier Crus and Chablis Villages from both 2011 and 2012 (the 2012 just bottled).

Grossot 4 1er crus Corinne and Jean Pierre Grossot, a young couple in their early 40s, are the third generation of winemakers at their family domaine which began in 1910. The Grossots cultivate 18 hectares of Chablis vineyards, centered in the village of Fleys, just east of the town of Chablis on the road to Tonnerre. The majority of their production is Villages Chablis but they do have nice holdings in four top Premier Crus: Mont de Millieu, Vacoupin, Fourchaume and Les Fourneaux.

The domaine's wines reflect the unique mineral quality of the Kimmeridgian soil, and the lively fruit acidity and bouquet is in perfect balance. The grapes are hand-harvested and gently pressed in a horizontal press to ensure the fullest extraction of flavors and aromas. A mix of stainless streel and old oak can be found in the winery. Grossot's commitment to making high quality Chablis wines have brought him international acclaim.

The 2011's have been well reviewed by Burghound and Tanzer.

Pre Arrival Prices for the Premier Crus are just $47.50 each. The 2011 and 2012 Villages are just $33.95. That is value!

Mas de Boislauzon Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2010

Jeb Dunnuck, The Rhone Report:

A knockout traditional cuvee, the 2010 Mas de Boislauzon Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a blend of 80% Grenache, 15% Mourvedre, and 5% Syrah that is aged half in tank and half in barrel. It is beautifully perfumed and complex on the nose, with aromas of incense, spiced meats, flowers, and raspberry and blackberry liqueur-like aromas all soaring from the glass. This is followed up by a full-bodied, structured, and tannic wine that has a rock solid core of fruit, loads of texture, and fantastic focus, detail, and length on the finish. Give bottles 2-3 years in the cellar, and then enjoy over the following decade. 93 Points

Normally $79.95
