If you love serious White Burgundy do we have a wine for you today!

Pucelles is one of the most highly regarded Premier Cru vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet. Jasper Morris goes even further and says it is "..one of Burgundy's very finest white-wine vineyards".

Morey-Coffinet Pucelles Black The best known producer is Domaine Leflaive. But there are a number of other producers with small plots. One of these is Domaine Morey-Coffinet. They have just 0.19 of a hectare which in an ideal year means four barrels (1200 bottles). But as we all know recent vintages have been small and the quantities produced considerably less than usual.

I happened to notice today that the 2011 Morey-Coffinet Pucelles received exactly the same Burghound score as Domaine Leflaive - 92 Points. That in itself is very good. But when I did some price research on line and found that the Leflaive price in Australia is $355.00 I was even more delighted.

We normally sell the Morey-Coffinet wine for $139.00. But for today only you can buy it for an incredible $100.00 a bottle. That's 28% of the price of the Leflaive. Forget any preconceptions you have and stock the cellar. You'd have to be crazy not to! Great Premier Crus are never this affordable!
