More terrific 2012 Burgundy
Domaine Guyon commenced in 1960 when Antonin purchased parcels of vines from Gevrey-Chambertin in the north to Meursault in the south. Over the years the holdings have been expanded and today Domaine Guyon produces wines from a terrific range of different appellations in some of Burgundies best communes. The domaine is now almost 50 hectares in size with magnificent 18th century cellars in Savigny-les-Beaune.
The domaine is reviewed by both the English and French wine writers. Great reviews are enjoyed from all the major French publications and John Gilman (A View from the Cellar) and Burghound also rate the wines of Domaine Antonin Guyon highly.
We have received pricing for the 2012 vintage. Being a large domaine perhaps they have not been as affected by the small vintages of recent years and prices ex-domaine here have only risen marginally. Of course, we still have the issue with the weak Australian Dollar to contend with.
We offer the range of 22 different wines from generic up to Grand Cru. Considering the price movements at some domaines there is some great value to be enjoyed on the outstanding 2012's.
