A Stunning White Burgundy from one of the great years with multiple scores of 95 or more.
A must-have for your cellar!
Every now and then we come across a wine that all reviewers agree is magnificent. The 2010 Corton-Charlemagne from Domaine Antonin Guyon is one of those very special wines.
It has been scored 95+ by John Gilman, 95 by the Wine Spectator and 92-94 by Burghound.
Overnight I checked with the domaine and they advised that they still have a small number of bottles available. Our Pre Arrival Price of $176.50 was calculated when the Dollar was 25% higher and if I were to reprice the wine today it would have a Normal Price of $279.00 and a Pre Arrival Price of $237.00! However, for the next week we will hold the old pricing.

John Gilman: There was just a touch of reduction on the nose of the 2010 Guyon Corton-Charlemagne, but the wine is absolutely superb underneath. The wine was raised in fifty percent new oak this year, which it has absolutely devoured. The bouquet is a deep, pure and utterly classic blend of apple, pink grapefruit, lemon zest, white flowers, intense chalky minerality, iodine and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and structured, with a superb core of silky fruit, bright acids, a great signature of soil, laser-like focus and outstanding length and grip on the transparent and rapier-like finish. A beautiful bottle of Corton Charlie. 95+ Points
