A seductive desert wine you really should try
To be honest I have never thought much of table wines made from Muscat so this wine came as an unbelievable surprise. It is produced from both muscats grown in Alsace on mineral limestone terroir in the Grand Cru vineyard Pfersigberg.
The nose is an incredibly complex blend of flowers, nectar and pain d'epices. Some exotic musk. There is pineapple but pleasingly no caramel. Mineral notes grace the palate. It is intriguing and delightful, quite delicate and subtle. Very seductive. A brilliant and very individual wine.
We only have 22 500ml bottles left and you really should try this late harvest gem before it is all gone.
For a Grand Cru late harvest wine the price is ridiculous!
