Grossot 2010 Gold Medal Header

One of only 29 Wines from all of Burgundy to be awarded a Gold Medal!

The results of the 2013 International Wine Challenge have just been announced. We were delighted to see that Domaine Corinne and Jean-Pierre Grossot were awarded a Gold Medal for their 2010 Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu.

It was one of only 29 Gold Medals awarded to wines from all over Burgundy including the Cote d'Or. The wine outpointed GRAND CRUS from Christian Moreau, La Chablisienne and Pascal Bouchard to name a few.

Unfortunately, we only have 92 bottles left. So it you would like some of this "Cracking!" wine in your cellar I suggest you act quickly. Remember if you buy an unbroken case of 12 bottles you will pay for 11 and shipping is free anywhere in Australia.

Grossot Milieu Label An outstanding Chablis. Highly rated by Burghound and Tanzer and now a Gold Medal winner to boot.

International Wine Challenge 2013: A classic smoky, fruity nose with apples, nuts and honey with an austere citrus front. Well structured and balanced with a steely spine. Cracking! Gold Medal

Great Everyday Drinking White from the Loire Valley

Here's a crisp, fresh French white at a price that makes it an everyday drinking proposition.

Bright and light. White flowers, hazelnut, leatherwood honey, smoke, a discreet and complexing hint of sulphides. Quite a haunting character that reminds me at times of Chablis. Round and quite full in the mouth, a little pith and pineapple acidity. A refreshing, dry, crisp, mineral, finish.

I particularly like the wine served quite cold when it would make an exceptional match to shellfish, especially oysters. It makes me think of the fresh seafood and crisp white wines I have enjoyed along the seaside in France.

$23.50 a bottle
Case of 12 Bottles $258.50
