3 Chateauneuf-du-Pape Red Cuvees
Multiple Parker 100 Point Wines
Tiny Production, Minute Allocation
Mas de Boislauzon is a tiny 9 hectare sixth-generation family estate in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. It is run by brother and sister Daniel and Christine Chaussy and in 2012 the estate was certified agriculture biologique.
The vines of Mas de Boislauzon are located in five different lieu-dits scattered across the appellation. In addition to the usual Grenache et al they have some very old and prized Mourvedre which they bottle as a separate cuvee called Tintot - the old name for the variety.
The also make a Super Prestige Cuvee called Quet which is one of the highest rated wines of Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Both the 2007 and 2010 were awarded 100 Points by Robert Parker. That is quite a feat for such a small producer! The wines fetch huge prices overseas.
Production from the estate is tiny and our allocation of the top cuvees is minute. To enable as many Chateaneuf-du-Pape fans as possible to taste these tremendous wines we have assembled Mixed Dozens featuring all of the wines we have available.
We only have 12 Mixed Dozens available and this is the only way to buy 3 of the 4 top wines. The dozen comprises:
1 bottle Chateauneuf-du-Pape Cuvee du Quet 2007 (Parker 100 Points)
1 bottle Chateauneuf-du-Pape Cuvee du Quet 2009 (Parker 96 Points)
1 bottle Chateauneuf-du-Pape Cuvee du Quet 2010 (Parker 100 Points)
1 bottle Chateauneuf-du-Pape Tintot 2009
(Parker 95+ Points)
4 bottles Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2010
(Rhone Review, Wine Spectator 93 Points)
4 bottles Cotes-du-Rhone Villages 2011
(Wine Spectator 90 Points)
The Cotes-du-Rhone Villages is a very interesting wine as it comes from land directly across the Chateauneuf-du-Pape border which has the same soil as its big brother.
Normal Price for the Dozen is $1422.50
