2010 produced incredible white and red Burgundy. They are wines that have the ability to live for years, yet are still are enjoyable now.
We purchased big quantities of 2010s but in most cases the wines have sold out or are very close.
We do have a few wines that for no obvious reason, are still available in good quantites.
One of these is the Domaine Roger Belland Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Champs-Gains 2010. The vineyard is located high on the Puligny slope with a vine age of 30+ years. The resulting wine is very fine, mineral, with citrus notes and no obvious oak. It is more persistant than the (Chassagne-Montrachet) Clos Pitois, finishing with lovely length. Nicely balanced. It is a very smart Puligny.
Puligny-Montrachet is seldom, if ever, cheap. Most Premier Crus from Domaine Leflaive will cost you in the mid to high $200's, if you can find them. I am not going to tell you this wine is their equal but if you like steely, mineral Puligny-Montrachet at 1/3 of their price, it is a bargain!
Our Special Offer is only for Complete Cases of 12 Bottles. We have 7 Cases available. Offer ends midnight 7 January 2013 or when sold out.

Burghound: A completely different aromatic profile presents itself here with much more floral influence and the underlying fruit is much more white fleshed than yellow. There is excellent richness to the succulent and suave medium-bodied flavors that possess excellent intensity and again, plenty of mouth coating dry extract that buffers the slightly firmer acid spine on the persistent finish. 90 Points
