Domaine Henri Boillot 2017 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Mouchere Monopole

Boillot 2017 Mouchere Header
One of Burgundy's star performers. This 1er Cru often outscores the big name Grand Crus

Domaine Henri Boillot own the huge 4 hectare Premier Cru Clos de la Mouchere in Puligny-Montrachet. It is a part of the 1er Cru Perrieres and is a monopole of the domaine.

Year-in, year-out it produces one of Boillot's top white wines.

The latest vintage is the 2017.

There are no reviews yet of the 2017 but recent vintages have all received terrific scores. It is always a wine with masses of extract, stone fruits, citrus, minerals and a serious acid spine. Burghound called the 2014 "flat out brilliant", the 2015 "Zen-like in its harmony and the 2016 "a gem of a Puligny 1er". In a word, fantastic. Short of buying Chevalier-Montrachet it doesn't get much better than this!

Recent vintages:

2016 - Burghound 96, Vinous 93-95
2015 - Burghound 95, Vinous 92-95
2014 - Burghound 95, Vinous 94+
2013 - Burghound 93, Vinous 93
2012 - Burghound 93, Vinous 93-95
2011 - Burghound 94, Vinous 94

Domaine Jean Chartron 2017 Pre Arrival Offer

We still have most wines available in small quantities from our allocation.

Once again we are too early for most critics but by the time they publish we will have sold out of many wines.

The track record of Chartron is exceptional.
